Teaching
My teaching is guided by a commitment to making the classroom a space of critical inquiry, respect and collective struggle. Studying gender and society often provokes a spectrum of emotions because living with and through racialised gendering in contemporary society is complex and fraught. I see the classroom as a space where the personal and the political overlap, and I strive to approach that space with care, compassion and openness to conflict as part of the learning process.
